Chris Peters. They were in an automobile accident on I-459 this morning
as they were headed to Atlanta for a conference. Chris' parents were
keeping the boys so it was just the two of them. Chris suffered some
bruised ribs and a pretty good bump on the head. He was released from
the hospital earlier today. Patience is being held for observation.
The good news is the baby is fine. Patience suffered a collapsed lung,
fractured sternum, possibly some broken ribs, and a broken ankle that
will require surgery. They were waiting to talk to the OB to determine
how the best way to accomplish that without putting anymore stress on
the baby. Chris' parents were in town this weekend and already had
plans to stay until tomorrow to keep the boys, and Patience's mom was
going to watch them through Thursday so they are covered on childcare
until then. I will try and keep everyone updated as to the plan to
help. Patience was in the St. Vincent's ER when I left earlier, but
will more than likely be moved to a room sometime today.
