We want to thank all of you for the contributions and prayers that you have offered on behalf of Orphanage 88 and the summer camp scholarship and computer project. Ann and I have been overwhelmed with the generosity of the Foundations families. In fact, we have raised almost $200 more than our goal of $3,700, which extra amount will be earmarked for next summer’s scholarships.
Through your generosity, the summer for twelve Ukrainian orphans will be filled with fun activities outside of the orphanage walls that these kids would otherwise not enjoy. In addition, your contributions will help purchase computers that will serve as invaluable learning tools desperately needed to equip these children with knowledge and skills for the day when they enter the work force. More than these worldly benefits, however, it is the Christ-driven love that you have shown that will, we have no doubt, help plant another seed in these children that will hopefully grow in each child until, one day, they know and understand Christ’s love for each of them.
