I hope everyone is enjoying this great spring weather!
I just wanted to remind you about a couple of upcoming events.
First, Sunday, May 2, 5:30-7:15 at the Malone's home will be our dinner and discussion with Jason Sterling. He will be talking about his observations on the college campus and how that can help us be better parents. Childcare provided at the church starting at 5pm.
Second, the Weldens, who will be teaching our Sunday School class in the Fall, are inviting our SS class, along with Cornerstone and Genesis classes out to their farm in Sylacauga. They will be having a hog roast and picnic from 11am until 3pm on Saturday, May 15. Everything will be provided, except for drinks and dessert. If you are interested in attending, please email Danny Giffen at dgiffen@covpres.com so that he can get a good count. Also, Danny will provide directions and further details.
