Thanks to all of you who participated in providing all of the items and making the Easter baskets for the Lovelady Center during the fellowship at our home. We set a goal of making 25 baskets and were actually able to make 36. The baskets were given to Mom’s who were going home for Easter to see their children, many for the first time in years. Your generous donations and willing participation allowed these women to provide a basket for their child (children) rather than go home empty handed. Many would not have had the means to have purchased items for a basket(s). Thank you so very much!!!! We had several containers of side walk chalk left over as well as toothbrushes and toothpaste. The side walk chalk will be donated to the Covenant Children’s Ministry. The toothbrushes and toothpaste were made into a gift bag with a personal note attached welcoming new residents to the Lovelady Center, many of whom present with no personal items of their own.
