Class, we’ve mentioned this in Sunday School, but I wanted to send out an email so you could all get it on your calendar. This should be a great time to just hang out together. Below is the email describing the event. I hope you will all come!
The Welden family is hosting a Pig Roast at their farm (just north of Sylacauga) on Saturday, May 15th from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. They have invited their own SS class (Genesis) and the classes they have taught or will teach these past three quarters. .
We will ask each class to be responsible for either drinks and desserts. The Weldens will take care of all the main courses and sides (basically, Chuck doesn’t trust anyone will make those things to his liking and he’s not sure you can screw up desserts.
Let me know soon (ask your classes Sunday). We want all of you and your families to join us. We’ll have a greased pig contest for the kiddos.
You can bring your own 4-wheeler, fishing gear, etc.
