Information about the Welden's Farm Event May15th

Below is information from Chuck Welden via Danny Giffen:
Dear Classes
The following includes the details for the BBQ Party at the Welden’s Farm on May 15th from 11 to 4.

Activities include horse shoes, fishing, 4 square, basketball, feeding the chickens, canoe, 4 wheel riding, tetherball, greased pig chase by the kids, and anything else someone can think up.

Plans are to eat around 1 pm.

Hurricane Creek will be providing wonderful bluegrass music from around 12:30 to 2:00 pm. http://www.hurricanecreekbluegrass.com/

The Welden’s are requesting the classes to bring the desserts. Chuck has a weakness for chocolate, banana pudding (Nabisco cookies, Chiquita bananas and meringue only, no whipped cream or other off brand bananas) and just about any homemade dessert that does not include coconut, cherry, pineapple or nuts. Basically, he doesn’t like luaus. Lauren loves coconut and pineapple so one dessert from each class can be allocated to that category.

We recommend the class leaders do a little coordinating within their respective classes to avoid having 100 fudge pies or 2,000 chocolate chip cookies.

Directions are attached.

Please park along County Road 28 if you can and try to be totally off the road.

Pray for good weather but as Presbyterians we know it is already determined. If you have any doubt as to weather conditions or other details, call Chuck at 790-0523 or Lauren at 222-4144.
