Mother’s Day Parade
Father’s and Grandfather’s if you would like to participate in Covenant’s Annual Mother’s Day Parade then please take your children and grandchildren to the Fellowship Hall about 5 minutes prior to the 8:30 or 11:00 a.m. services.
Covenant Cares – Tornado Relief Assistance
Covenant continues to reach out and minister to those impacted by the tornados that ripped through our state on April 27. Donations to our Deacon Fund will assist with relief efforts (check payable to Covenant with a note your gift is designated for Tornado Relief). Ingram Link is helping the Christian Service Mission with cooking meals. She needs assistance to get these meals prepared. Following are dates and times Ingram needs volunteers:
Tuesday, May 10, 5 – 8 p.m.; Thursday, May 12, 9 a.m. – 12 noon; Tuesday, May 17, 9 a.m. – 12 noon; Thursday, May 19, 5 – 8 p.m.; Tuesday, May 24, 5 – 8 p.m.; Thursday, May 26, 9 a.m. – 12 noon.
MOMS • Making Our Mothering Significant
MOMS will meet Tuesday, May 10, for our final group meeting for this spring. Mothers are invited to join us in E201/203 at 9:15 a.m. for a light breakfast followed by the conclusion of our study, Power of a Positive Wife: The Power of God's Presence and Finishing Strong! facilitated by Becky Hamer. Childcare is available for birth through age 5 in SonShine Valley.
New Members Class
If you are interested in making Covenant your church home, we invite you to join us for a New Members Class on Friday and Saturday, May 20 and 21. Reservations are requested by calling Victoria Williams at 871-7002, ext. 101.
Covenant’s Mission House
The missions house that Covenant and other missionaries use when they are home for HMA is in need of a few household items: a washer and dryer (in good condition), a queen size frame and headboard, a dresser with mirror, and some pots and pans. VBS 2011
Children 4K through rising 4th grade are invited to Vacation Bible School 2011, June 13-17, from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon. This year's theme is a big surprise - what will it be? You’ll just have to come and see! Register now at any Welcome Station in the Children’s Building. Volunteers Meeting this Friday May 13, at 9:00 a.m. in Room 305.
