TUESDAY: Cookin’ in Ingram Café from 9:00-12:00 for lunch to be served in Pratt City hopefully that same day. Would love volunteers for cooking and a few volunteers that would be willing to serve the lunch after. Serving did not take long at all and they LOVED the poppyseed chicken this past week!!
THURSDAY: Cookin’ in Ingram Café 4:00-6:30. We might be cooking for Pratt City, but will let you know when we figure out exactly who and where we are serving breakfast!! Hope you can come out to cook!
SATURDAY: We’ll be heading out to Pratt City to Scott School once again. Meet at the church around 8:30 to head out around 9:00. If you can go ahead and fill out a release form those are attached to this email. There will be a sign up sheet ready and name tags to fill out so try and get there early enough to fill all those things out. CHAINSAWS AND WHEELBARROWS ARE NEEDED for sure!! We get VIP treatment (to quote from Brent Powell) when we have chainsaws. GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT team this past Saturday. So great to see the body of Christ joined together and working together. We WILL BE BACK BY 3:00 BECAUSE AT 4:00 THERE’S A RECEPTION FOR THE NEW PASTOR!!
MISSION TO NORTH AMERICA WORK ORDERS: If any day this week you are interested in working through MNA please contact me. They have a ton of work orders this whole week. It would require the release form attached, you emailing me (slitten@covpres.com), and you driving to Westmont Baptist in Mulga, AL (not far from Pleasant Grove) where work orders will be given out. If you are able to go any day this week you would meet their at 8:00am and work your little hearts out. Need 6-8 people per team and a couple of chainsaws on each team!! You chainsaw guys, you know you love it. Let me know if you are at all able to do this!! Thank you for being willing to work!!
