This is a quick heads up on the 3/9 Deacon Work Party. It will be on Saturday 3/9 from 7:30 to 10:30
PLEASE MAKE SURE THIS WORK PARTY GETS ANNOUNCED (FOR RECRUITMENT) THIS SUNDAY AND NEXT IN YOUR SUNDAY SCHOOL CLASSES!!!
Just a top-line on the what & why:
The work party will be to organize and to clean out the numerous spaces being used for storage both in/around the church and “up top”. There is a TON of stuff jammed in these spaces and we need to help get it either in the right place or tossed out.
· All that said, we need LOTS of strong arms & backs.
· I encourage you each to make every effort to be there
· Please encourage all dads with teen sons to come together & help.
· Please encourage folks with pickup trucks or vans (or flatbed utility trailers) to come in them so we don’t have to physically carry things between the portals and the church -- since a LOT of stuff big/heavy things will be trading places. Ideally we need at least 5 pickup trucks or the equivalent in carrying capacity.
