It was wonderful to have Clay Wheeler lead us last Sunday in our study of Acts. Sam Tortorici will continue this Sunday.
Prayer Requests:
Please pray for the Giffen family (Danny, Emily, Britton, Lia Kate and new baby Collins) as they grieve the loss of Danny's father, J. Douglas Giffen. Mr. Giffen's funeral is at 12:30 pm on Friday, December 7, at First United Methodist Church in Carrollton, TX. Mr. Giffen passed away while the Giffens, their children and mothers were in China adopting their new little girl, Collins, last week.

Chancel Choir Concert:
Join us for “The Majesty and Glory of Christmas” featuring The Chancel Choir, Children’s Choir and members of the Alabama Symphony Orchestra on Wednesday, December 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Dinner will be served at 5:30 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall, and childcare will be provided for children ages 5 and under.
Missions:
The Missions Conference is coming up at the beginning of February. Our Missions Coordinators, Leslie and Michael Brooks, will have opportunities available for our class in the coming weeks.

Each year, BHN hosts a fund raiser at Christmas time and you may have seen it....a gift wrapping service at Colonial Brookwood Village (mall). There actually will be a story on this Wednesday, Dec. 5, at 8 am on Good Day Alabama.
Here are 10 shifts (only the Monday 11:45-2:15 is full), and I need a minimum of 2 people per shift. It is a lot of fun and if you're busy, the time flies, if you're not - you get in a good visit with a buddy, or a new friend! Let me know ASAP if you can help - I'm literally having nightmares about getting the slots filled!!
