Subject: Two Exciting Covenant Items

As many of you know, we have historically not had a staff person over women's ministries but the need has been there for some time.  It was announced this past Wednesday Night that Ingram Link has been hired as the full-time Director of Women's Ministries.  We have been blessed with Ingram's heart for ministry for many years through the kitchen, but many were unaware of her passion to lead in discipleship and prayer.   The session and pastoral team is delighted that she will be serving in her new capacity.  Please pray for Ingram as she transitions to her new role and new office.  We pray that the women of Covenant will continue to be blessed by the talents and gifts on Ingram and that much will be made of Christ in her time.

Secondly, Bill Boyd continuing in the tradition of Bill Hay (last year) will be preaching at Cathedral Church of the Advent this coming Wednesday, March 14th at noon.  Many of you that work downtown know the impact their annual Lenten Lunch series has in our community and we are excited that many will hear from our pastor next week.  It is an impressive line-up this year with Sinclair Ferguson, Doug Webster, Josh Davis (Texas Swimmer), Stuart Latimer (RUF) and Frank Limehouse.  If you've never been before, you will be blessed to attend.  Service begins promptly at noon and is over by 12:25.  There is a luncheon afterwards that all are welcome to attend.
