See below announcements for this week. Bill Hay will be doing his last sermon on Philippians.

Fred Henry will be doing the Sunday school lesson on Mark 13 and tells us he will be "bringing it" for sure.

Special Sunday School August 21
Sunday, August 21, the ladies will kickoff the Women’s Ministry for Fall, 2011.  All ladies should meet during the Sunday School hour in the Fellowship Hall.  All men please meet in the Sanctuary to discuss the upcoming fall ministries here at Covenant.

Women’s Ministry Summer Bible Study
The morning Drop-In Study will meet July 12-August 16 on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 until 11:00 with Bible study teacher Kay Gresham.  Kay’s topic for Tuesday, August 9, will be “Being a Friend”; August 16, “Being a Godly Woman”.

Summer Singers
All ages are welcome, and we encourage whole families to attend together.  The Summer Singers meet in the choir room (below the Sanctuary) 25 minutes before each worship service to briefly rehearse a simple but effective hymn arrangement for that service.

Wednesday Worship Resumes August 24
As you plan your fall schedule be sure and make Wednesday nights at Covenant a priority. Fellowship Dinner, children's Pioneer Clubs, student Bible studies, Music Clubs, Chancel Choir rehearsal and Wednesday Worship resume on August 24. Our Wednesday Worship this fall will focus on the Ten Commandments.

Mark Your Calendars
You will want to mark your calendars for Sunday, August 28, as we welcome our new Senior Pastor, Rev. Bill Boyd, who will be preaching from the Book of Matthew.  This study will continue through the fall.
