Greetings all,
Bill Boyd's arrival to Covenant brings much excitement across the board but we specifically expect to see a significant increase in our collegiate attendance—especially at Samford. Most of these students are new to the city and have no church home. As a result we have two significant needs.
1. Mentor families for students--this is a ministry of hospitality that you can host weekly or monthly
2. Volunteers for this Friday Morning August 26. We will meet at 7:30 a.m. in the Church parking lot and help move new students into their dorm rooms. This is a fantastic outreach opportunity. We anticipate being done well before the lunch hour
