Grace and Grillin’

Join us on Wednesday, July 7, at 5:30 p.m. in the upper parking area as we continue our study of Tim Keller's book, Gospel in Life: Grace Changes Everything.  A cookout supper will be followed by Bible study in C316 led by Danny Giffen, T. J. Wolters and Tim Keller. Dress comfortably and casually and come enjoy a great night of fellowship, Bible study and building community.   Childcare (age 5 and under) provided in SonShine Valley

 

Summer Choir Begins July 11

An intergenerational choir will assist in worship beginning Sunday, July 11. This choir will rehearse 30 minutes prior to each service and will sing one anthem during the worship service.

 

WIC Summer Bible Studies

Ladies, The Book of Proverbs study meets on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 to 11:00 in E202 and is led by Rev. T. J. Wolters, Pastor of Community.  In July,

“Dealing with Life’s Difficulties” with Bible study leader Kay Gresham is our summer drop-in study that begins July 6 on Tuesday mornings, 10:00 to ll:00 in E206.

 

Birmingham Hospitality Network Auction Fundraiser

Birmingham Hospitality Network (BHN) will be hosting its annual fundraiser at the B&A Warehouse, Thursday, July 29^th. Rusty and Laura Averette are auction coordinators for Covenant.  They need to collect monetary sponsorships as well as items for the silent auction.  Auction items include gift certificates of all kinds- food, massages, nails etc., wine baskets, hand made (knitted or sewn) children’s clothing, original art pieces, autographed books or sports memorabilia, teeth whitening, concert or sports tickets, hunting or fishing outings and any other item you think may raise money for this life changing ministry. 

The silent auction is also a GREAT night out with free live music, food and beverage.  Tickets will go on sale the end of June and will be $25.00 per person.  For more information or to make a donation please contact
