Well, folks, according to which weathernut you believe, there is between a 60-80 percent of rain and thundershowers on Sunday, so the social braintrust has discussed the options and has decided to move the Easter Egg hunt and Picnic from Sunday to Saturday, March 27 with a time change to 5:30. Same place - still at the Averette's 3790 Crossings Crest
Birmingham AL 35242
Same deal: egg hunt for ages 4 and under with the older kids helping us "hide" the eggs. Please bring 10 filled eggs for each child hunting. Don't forget to bring items for the Easter Baskets for the Lovelady Center and a side dish, dessert or drink. From Rusty: "If someone could bring 3 loaves of Sunbeam white bread, someone else maybe 4 rolls of paper towels and lastly maybe some homemade banana pudding. Pudding is more of a wish than a necessity, depending on how you look at it. To me, Ribs without puddin’ should be a crime." Also, bring riding toys for your kids or yourself (Michael is bringing Briggs' Ripstick).
Props to Jim Bennett for helping out the meat - Thanks!
