Wed Worship
Wed Worship resumes this Wednesday, January 20th at 5:30 p.m.
Dinner will be served from 5:30 - 6:15 and worship in the Fellowship Hall
will follow at 6:30 p.m.
Music will be led by Adam Wright from the band Act of Congress www.actofcongressmusic.comand the teaching will be led by TJ Wolters, Danny Giffen, Jason Sterling and Dr. Mark Gignilliat.
Our theme this spring is, Heroes, the Drama of Redemption. Each week we will explore the lives of key Old Testament characters and how their stories (through success and failures), point to the real Hero, Jesus Christ.
It was said by Augustine, "the New Testament in the Old concealed, the Old Testament in the New revealed. If these heroes are just examples for us to follow, we are of all men most pitied. Thankfully, our salvation as Christians rests, not on our trying to do what they did, but solely on the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.
