SOCIAL - next Monday Night.
The Nov. 18 Women's Social at Kelli Threadcraft's home will be a "My Favorite Things" party. Bring five of the same items that cost under $5 to exchange. PRAYER REQUESTS:
1) Joan Baxley, diagnosed with liver cancer (Hicks made this request)
2) Wayne Miller, diagnosed with colon cancer (Hicks made this request)
3) Preston Stephens (little boy who drowned-but father saved him) is still in a coma-has signs-at home-pray he will open his eyes (Henry's made this request)
4) Jocelyn and Marty Martin, who have lost two grandparents in the last few weeks and have a lot going on expecting their fourth child very soon.
THANKSGIVING BASKETS OF KINDNESS:
This is a GREAT thing to do with your kids on Saturday morning! Meet at Christian Service Mission (3600 3rd Avenue South) on Saturday, November 17 at 9:00 a.m. to assemble and deliver Thanksgiving Baskets to the patients of our missionary Dr. Tom Edwards, who's with Hope Health Center. Also, Sam Tortorici and Clay Wheeler will be our teachers next quarter. They will be teaching from Acts.
