Sunday School Announcements this week

Hope everyone got the chance to attend a few of the missions week events this week. I think we had our best turnout ever for our class Desert & fellowship at the Clegg's at the Desert on Tuesday night.

We will beginning our spring quarter Sunday School less this week. Mark Midyette will be leading our lesson as he will  be teaching on the church. This lesson he has been inspired by his service on the search committee. In his words it will be "some fundamental, often overlooked, sometime misunderstood tenets of just what the church “is”.

Summer in Romania 2011
A short-term missions team from Covenant will travel to Brasov, Romania, June 30 – July 10, to participate in a Sports/Bible Camp in partnership with CRM and MTW.  If you would like to learn more, please join us for an informal meeting today immediately following the 11:00 a.m. worship service in E201.

 Evangelism Class
Evangelism is all about relationships.  Learn to share your faith with boldness and confidence in our Evangelism Class led by Jamie Shields on Sunday mornings at 9:45 a.m. in S102.  Anyone is welcome to attend.

Portland, Maine Trip (Home Missions Opportunity)
This is trip is scheduled for July 16 – July 23, 2011.  If you are interested in the details of this incredible outreach opportunity, please contact Rev. Dan Edwards, Team Leader, at 871-7002, ext. 102.

First Monday Lunch BunchThe First Monday Lunch Bunch will meet tomorrow, March 7, at 11:45 a.m. in S104.  Lunch is $6 and childcare for children 5 and under is available in SonShine Valley.  All ladies are invited.

Family Service Trip
Interested in going on a domestic family service trip this summer? Covenant’s Got Talent!

Join us on Sunday, April 10, from 2:00 until 4:00 p.m. for an afternoon of fun and fellowship at our youth talent show. Proceeds from this event will benefit a summer missions trip to Ukraine. If you know of a 7th-12th grade student who’s got talent in any performing art (song, dance, film-making, drama, etc.), please encourage them to participate. Sign-up in Sunday School (sign up sheets are in your folder) or email Tricia Prather  at triciaprather@gmail.com. This will be a showcase of talent—and we hope to see you there.
