U2 Clip from 2001 NBA finals

From Mark Taylor...

A few people asked about this clip that I mentioned during Sunday School today.  I might not have sent it if Bob Flayhart at Oak Mountain Pres would not have used the clip during his sermon a couple of weeks back.  I personally feel like it's an encouraging clip.  I don't think its far fetched to believe its a man in celebration of his relationship with the Lord.
I also provide a link from an interview in Chrisitanity Today from 2005 for folks to choose whether he has a firm grasp of the gospel.

The link is from their concert in Boston from the 2001 NBA finals.  He personally choreographs this to the second to have the cameras come in at the specific moment - and its broadcast worldwide to 32 countries.  They are finishing up the song "40", directly from the Psalm 40.  The rifts from "Where the streets have no name" begin.  That song, for those that don't know, is about heaven because its all about Him in heaven - no one else.  Bono himself has said that contrary to other opinions - and MercyMe has said its their favorite song to perform because of that. I would encourage anyone who listens to this to take their earphones from their ipod and plug it into their computer to catch everything in the clip.  Bono is on one knee.  What he says is this:

"What can I give back to God for the blessings He's poured out on me" (twice)

"Lift high the cup of salvation as a toast to our Father"

"Father, fulfill in me the promise I made to you....in my heart"

I'd be interested in anyone's thoughts on the clip.
